That is a one-week lose of 6.2 pounds, bringing me to a total loss of 19.4 pounds.
I've been told by many of my friends that I should concentrate on how much I've lost. And while I don't doubt the importance of taking pride in accomplishments, I also see real power in positive thinking. No, not quite the Tony Robbins positive thinking, but something similar.
I have a very clear picture of myself at my weight goal--192. It is easy because I was there in the not too distant past. I have a photograph in my office of me at a friend's wedding at that weight. I'm not sure why, but that candid picture is my favorite picture of myself.
I say all that so say:
"Only 50 (.6) more pounds to go!"
